Universal digital platforms for flexible integration into process chains
- Industry 4.0: these weighing platforms can be easily integrated into your process chain. All measured values can be easily transferred to your system as digital, already reconciled data via the many available interfaces and further processed. This saves costs, time and resources and ensures even more efficient working
- Connecting the platform to a tablet or PC offers the advantage of benefiting from the apps and programs installed there, which are usually already tailored to your needs, allow for simple and convenient operation and can often be freely expanded. This offers you maximum flexibility in the display, processing and storage of the collected weighing data
- Querying and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computers using the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). The KCP is a standardized interface command set for KERN scales and other instruments, which allows the retrieval and control of all relevant parameters and device functions. KERN devices with KCP can therefore be very easily connected to computers, industrial controls and other digital systems. The KCP protocol is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol
- PRE-TARE function for manual pre-deduction of a known container weight, useful for filling quantity controls
- Freely programmable weighing unit, e.g. display directly in thread length g/m, paper weight g/m², etc.
- Wind shield as standard, weighing chamber W×D×H 146×146×80 mm
- Included in the delivery: BalanceConnection software for adjusting and managing the KERN KDP, for large-format display of the measured values on the PC as well as transferring this data to other apps and programs
