This eliminates any documentation or transmission errors that can occur during manual data entry. - KERN Universal Port (KUP): allows the connection of external KUP interface adapters, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, for the exchange of data and control commands without installation effort
- Convenient secondary display on the back of the scale, easily readable by both the patient and medical staff
- The MPN-HM model features an elegantly integrated, extendable height measuring rod in the stand, with a plastic head stop and a measuring range of 89–205 cm
- Patients under 80 cm tall can be measured directly using the height measuring rod attached to the stand
- The ergonomically optimized design and robust construction make this series ideal for daily use in professional environments

- Hold function: For restless patients, a stable weight value is determined by averaging and then "frozen". This leaves sufficient time to attend to the patient and subsequently read the weight value at leisure
- Parent-child function: The parent's weight determined by weighing is reset to zero at the touch of a button. The parent is then weighed together with the child. The child's weight is now displayed directly on the screen. Particularly convenient for toddlers, who can thus be weighed safely and securely in the parent's arms
- BMI function for determining underweight/normal weight/overweight
- Fine display: readability [d] can be increased by 1 digit for 5 s at the touch of a button
