- Industry 4.0: The integrated KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows external KUP interface adapters to be connected, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet. The outstanding advantage here is that the KUP interface adapters simply plug in, i.e., upgrading interfaces is conveniently possible without opening the balance housing or complicated installation. The interface adapters allow for the convenient transmission of weighing data to networks, PCs, smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers, etc. In addition, control commands and data entries can also be sent to the balance via the connected devices. Tip: with the KERN KUP-13 extension box, up to three KUP interface adapters can be operated in parallel on the balance
- KERN Communication Protocol (KCP): KCP allows the balance to be queried and remotely controlled via external control devices or computers
- Uniform, simplified operating philosophy
- PRE-TARE function for the manual pre-deduction of a known container weight, useful for filling quantity controls
- The recipe function allows different components of a mixture to be weighed. The total weight of all components can be retrieved for checking purposes
- Weighing with tolerance range (checkweighing): An optical signal assists in portioning, dosing, or sorting
- Freely programmable weighing unit, e.g., display directly in thread length g/m, paper weight g/m², etc.
- A special anti-shock system between the weighing plate and the load cell reduces vibrations during weighing, ensuring faster and more reliable weighing results
- Ring-shaped draft shield as standard, weighing chamber Ø×H 90×40 mm
- Safety hood included in the delivery scope
