- Retrieval and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computers using the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). KCP is a standardized interface command set for KERN scales and other instruments, allowing retrieval and control of all relevant parameters and device functions. KERN devices with KCP can therefore be easily connected to computers, industrial controllers, and other digital systems. The KCP protocol is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol
- Thanks to interfaces such as RS-232 or USB, WLAN, Bluetooth, and Ethernet (optional), the scale can be easily integrated into existing networks, facilitating data exchange between the scale and a PC or printer
